We were working in our translation of the core book but it came to our attention a fan translation made by the community. The job was so impressive that we decided to make it official by using it in the official version which will be released as a physical book product. We want to make some points clear:

· This is not an exception. Savage Worlds is proud to host one of the most active international communities in TTRPGs, and we want to grow that in China as well. We will highly consider any work made by the community, and we will work with the community in all our products.

· We know the Chinese way to do things. As such, all official digital files (PDFs) will be released for free. We will not make a business with digital products. We believe digital products help to spread the TTRPG hobby and Savage Worlds so; we want as many people to use them as possible. Free. No charges, ever.

· Our business will be physical products. We will release official physical books for those who want a premium product in their hands at affordable prices. This includes books, DM screens and props like dice, counters etc. However, if you want to play for free, you can use our digital files.

· Since digital files will be free, they will be released BEFORE the physical product. This way, you will know what you will get in physical format before you spend your money on it.
